Frequently asked questions

What is PokéRip?
PokéRip is a free browser-based Pokémon TCG pack opening simulator. Pick any official set — from Base Set (1999) through the latest TCG Pocket and Mega Evolution releases — and rip virtual boosters that mirror real retail pull rates.
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no download, no payment. Open as many packs as you want. The cards you pull are virtual, but the artwork and pull rates mirror real retail boosters.
How realistic are the pull rates?
Each pack contains 5 commons, 3 uncommons, 1 reverse holo, and 1 rare-or-better slot. The rare slot rolls roughly 74% rare/holo, 14% ultra rare (V/ex/Double Rare), 6% secret rare, and 2% Special Illustration or Hyper Rare — calibrated to typical retail boosters.
Which sets are available?
Every official Pokémon TCG set with a logo and 30+ cards in the TCGdex database — about 200 sets, from Base Set (1999) through the latest TCG Pocket Mega Evolution releases. Use the search and series filter to find a specific one.
Can I open the same pack multiple times?
Yes — after the reveal, click "Rip Another Pack" on the summary screen. Each pack is rolled independently, so you'll get a different pull every time.
